MSU Cross Country/Track & Field Announces New Signees
MOREHEAD, Ky. – Morehead State cross country and track and field has signed five newcomers to head coach Clay Dixon's program. The group includes four freshmen set to join the women's squad in the fall and a transfer who will arrive on campus this semester as a member of the men's team. Two of the five are in-state student-athletes while the remaining three are Ohio natives.

Megan Bush, who prepped at Teays Valley High School, is known for her skills as a distance runner. She placed in the top five in four of the seven meets in which she competed last season, highlighted by a first place finish at the Pickaway County Cross Country Meet. Her personal best in the 5k is 19:12. The Ashville, Ohio native seeks to be an immediate contributor for the women's cross country team.

Lilly Gray is a mid-distance runner from Peebles High School in Peebles, Ohio. In 2019, she qualified for the Ohio State Championship for the 800m where she placed 14th. She is also her school's record holder in the 800m and part of the school-record relay teams in the 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, and 4x800. Gray is expected to compete in the 800m and 4x400 relay for the Eagles.

Keana Meriwether is a sprinter from Butler High School in Louisville, Ky. In the 2019 Class AAA Kentucky State Championship, she was part of the third-place 4x400m relay team while placing 13th in the 400m as an individual runner. She will look to bolster Morehead State's 4x400 relay squad.

Cloe Copas currently attends Washington High School in Washington Court House, Ohio. During the 2019 season, she recorded seven first-place finishes in the 1600m. She ran a 5k personal best of 20:05. The mid-distance runner will represent the Eagles in the 800m and 1500m events.
