MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State sophomore setter Bridget Bessler earned her second straight and third overall Ohio Valley Conference Setter of the Week accolade for her efforts in helping the Eagles sweep Tennessee State on the road this past weekend.

It also marks her 10th career Setter of the Week honor.

Bessler averaged 11 assists per set as MSU rallied to win both matches. The Eagles were down 1-0 Friday but won 3-1 and were behind 2-0 on Saturday before coming back for the 3-2 triumph.

She had 42 assists and 15 digs Friday for her team-best seventh double-double of the fall and added 57 assists (second highest total this year) and nine digs Saturday. She also added five kills.

She is currently eighth in program history with 2,466 assists in her three seasons.
