MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State volleyball came up short again in the regular-season finale at Southeast Missouri Saturday. The Redhawks got past the Eagles 3-0.
MSU will be te No. 2 seed for this week's OVC Tournament, which will also be held at SEMO.
SEMO scored the final two points to win set one, 25-23, and then won 25-15 and 25-18 to seal its victory.
Outside hitter
Abby Hulsman led MSU with 11 kills, while fellow outside
Olivia Lohmeier had another double-figure output with 10 kills. Right-side attacker
Maycie Welborn landed 10 kills as well.Â
On the back row, libero
Allison Whitten piled up 16 digs, while at the net
Irene Wogenstahl turned back four SEMO attacks.
SEMO hit .286 to the Eagles. 200.
The OVC Tournament bracket will be out Saturday evening.
