MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Men's Basketball's last non-conference test before the OVC ledger is set for Tuesday night at IUPUI. The game will tip off at 7 p.m. ET at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum, site of many of the NCAA Tournament games in 2021.
It will mark the Eagles' first trip back to the Circle City since spending a week there and playing in the NCAA Tournament in March. MSU (7-5) will look to finish off the non-conference portion of the schedule with its eighth win. Under first-year head coach and Jaguar alum Matt Crenshaw, IUPUI is still looking to find its fortunes, going 1-9 in the first 10 games.

NOTABLE
• In a series lasting only five games so far, Morehead State has won the last two matchups with IUPUI to get the series to a 3-2 Jaguar lead. As a program, Morehead State will strive for its first true road win at IUPUI and its first true road win in Indianapolis, Ind., as MSU is 0-2 against Butler, 0-2 against IUPUI and 0-1 against
Indianapolis University on those team's home floors.
• With a win over IUPUI, the Eagles can tie for the program's most non-conference victories (8) since 2014-15. The most non-conference wins in a modern-era season was 11 in 1990-91.
• The Eagles rank in the top 20 in the nation in total assists this season with an even 200. MSU also is boasting its best assist-turnover ratio (1.1) in head coach
Preston Spradlin's tenure this season.
• Morehead State ranks second in the OVC in three-pointers made per game at 9.0. The Eagles are coming off a win over Alice Lloyd where MSU drained 15 three-pointers. In 12 games, MSU has registered double-digit treys four times and hit nine in three other contests. Morehead State has hit at least five three-pointers in all 12 games this season and has a string of 16 straight games with five or more triples made since the end of last year.

Johni Broome owns an Ohio Valley Conference-best seven double-doubles this season, which ranks tied for third in the country, and now has 20 double-doubles in his career. Broome enters the week with three consecutive double-doubles.
• Sophomore guard Ta'Lon Cooper ranks third in the nation in total assists with 79. In fact, in comparing today's stats, Cooper's 79 assists versus IUPUI's total assists as a team are a little known number fact called an emirp. An emirp (prime spelled backwards) is a prime number that results in a different prime when its decimal digits are reversed.

Johni Broome ranks fifth in the nation in blocked shots, rejecting 41 shots on the season.

Johni Broome needs six rebounds to reach 400 for his career. He owns a 9.4 rebound average for his career - 42 games.

Tray Hollowell has hit at least one three-pointer in all 12 games in 2021-22 and owns a string of 19 consecutive games with at least one three-ball made since last season at Wofford. In his past 36 college games, Hollowell has only not made a three-pointer in two of them.

Tray Hollowell enters the game with 938 career collegiate points, including 799 in four seasons at Wofford. Currently there are 34 former MSU players who have registered 1,000 points while suiting up as an Eagle.
• Morehead State owns a string of 45 consecutive wins when leading with a minute left in regulation play. The last time MSU held a lead at the 1:00 minute mark of the second half and lost was a 65-64 setback at Jacksonville State on Jan. 21, 2019.
