MOREHEAD, Ky. – Morehead State Soccer hits the road on Friday for what is likely to be the final conference match against Eastern Kentucky. First touch at EKU Soccer Field is set for 3 pm ET. Both clubs are in search of their first wins of the season in a rivalry that has been tightly contested in recent years with the last three matches in the series having each required extra time.
MSU is coming off a tough loss against Tennessee Tech where the Golden Eagles broke a scoreless tie in the 88
th minute to secure a 1-0 victory. Eastern Kentucky most recently had a heartbreaker of its own as it saw preseason OVC favorite Murray State score two goals in the final 10 minutes to rally for a 3-2 comeback win.
