Track Prepares to Run in the Adidas Trojan Challenge in Mount Olive, N.C.

MOREHEAD, Ky. – Morehead State Track & Field is on the road for the second consecutive weekend as it travels to Mount Olive, N.C., to compete in the Adidas Trojan Challenge. The two-day event, hosted by the University of Mount Olive, will be held at the Ray McDonald Sr. Sport Complex.
 
The Eagles are coming off an impressive overall performance in the Blizzard Buster in Oxford, Ohio that included a pair of individual victories. Jarrett Mattingly set a personal-best in the 3000 meter, running a time of 8:33.56 while Darby Pillow registered his career record-setting time of 53.10 seconds in the 400 meter.
 
The majority of events will take place on Saturday with the 10,000 meter run being the lone track race set for Friday evening. Fans can follow the event in the live stats link provided above.
 
After competing this weekend, MSU will run in the Joey Haines Invitational hosted by Southeast Missouri on April 3rd.
