MOREHEAD, Ky. – Morehead State Softball will look to slow down one of the hottest teams in the conference as it travels to face Southeast Missouri. The Eagles have a tough task ahead of them this weekend with a three-game series against a SEMO team that has won eight of its last nine games.

The first matchup between the two clubs is set for Friday, March 26 at 7 pm ET before a doubleheader the following day scheduled to start at 3 pm ET. All three games will be played at the Southeast Softball Complex in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

The Eagles, who lead the OVC with 46 stolen bases, will look to use their abilities on the basepaths to try and best their conference foes.

"Our focus will continue to be on our strengths as we face off against SEMO this weekend," said head coach Samantha Jones. "We are confident in our abilities and talent to compete and stay right with SEMO throughout the whole game."
