MOREHEAD, Ky. – Morehead State soccer returns to the pitch on Friday at 2 pm ET against OVC rival Eastern Illinois. After a short, two-day break, head coach
Warren Lipka's Eagles travel to Charleston, Ill., seeking their first win of the young season. The opposing Panthers are also on the hunt for victory number one after dropping their first match of the year against UT Martin.
MSU is looking to improve its offensive output after scoring its first goal in four games in the season opener against Murray State, a scoreless streak previously dating back to Oct. 18, 2019.
Colleen Swift's score in 63rd minute of Tuesday's match marked the lone goal for the Eagles.
