Jaylon Hall Set to Transfer from Wright State to Join Eagle Men's Basketball
MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Jaylon Hall, who helped Wright State to three postseason berths - including one NCAA Tournament, is set to transfer to Morehead State for the 2021-22 season.

Hall, whose hometown is Houston, Texas and who prepped at Louisville's Doss High School, will have two seasons of eligibility remaining. He is a 6-5, 190-pound guard.

"Jaylon is a guy who we have known since he was a junior in high school and I am extremely excited for the opportunity to bring him back to Kentucky to join our program," said head coach Preston Spradlin. "He is a versatile guard who will fit perfectly with our style of play on both ends of the court. With this recruiting class, adding veterans with championship experience was our top priority, and Jaylon fits that description."

Hall was a catalyst in Wright State winning 89 games over his four seasons. The Raiders won the Horizon League Tournament when he was a freshman in 2017-18 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. He averaged nine points per game that season.

Hall drained 101 career three-pointers in his time at WSU, hitting a solid 36 percent from distance.

He sat out the 2018-19 season with an injury but returned to average 7.8 points in 2019-20. This past season, he helped WSU to 18 wins while averaging 9.4 points and hitting 44 percent from three-point range.

At Doss High School, Hall was a candidate for Kentucky's Mr. Basketball, the 6th Region Player of the Year, scored more than 1,000 career points and led the Dragons to two Sweet 16 appearances. Doss won 30 games when he was a junior in 2015-16 and advanced to the championship game of the Sweet 16.
