Men's Golf Ready for Another Shot at Fighting Joe as the 2020-21 OVC Men's Golf Championship Begins Sunday
MOREHEAD, Ky. – Coming off of nine top-10 finishes in 10 events, including victories at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate and the Battle at Boone, Morehead State men's golf seeks the program's sixth Ohio Valley Conference Men's Golf Championship title.

Returning to the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at the Shoals for the seventh straight OVC Men's Golf Championship and eighth time overall, Morehead State has had a run of success at RTJ Golf Trail's Fighting Joe course, capturing a pair of top-three finishes on the course. The Eagles are also coming off the program's lowest round since 1997 at the OVC Golf Championship in 2019, turning in an 871.

Four Eagles, seniors Cooper Collins, Ryan Gillum, Joe Muschong, and Zac Viminitz each feature round experience in the OVC Men's Golf Championship, combining for 20 total rounds on the RTJ Golf Trail at the Shoals' Fighting Joe Course. Collins leads the way with eight total rounds at the OVC Golf Championship while also posting the group's best finish, tying for fourth in 2017.

Morehead State enters the postseason following the Wright State Invitational where the Eagles captured a 10th-place finish. Three Eagles, paced by sophomore Brody Webb—who captured his best career finish (t-17th)—captured top-30 finishes.

Play at the three-day event begins Sunday in Muscle Shoals, Ala. with Morehead State's tee times beginning at 9:40 a.m. ET with an Eagle teeing off every 10 minutes. Rounds two and three commence Monday and Tuesday with the previous round's leaderboard determining the next round's tee times.
