Track Travels to Lexington to Compete in the Kentucky Invitational

MOREHEAD, Ky. – In its final meet before the OVC Championship, Morehead State Track heads to Lexington, Ky., to run in the Kentucky Invitational. The Eagles will compete on Friday and Saturday at the University of Kentucky Outdoor Track & Field Complex.

Track events on Friday will run from 4-6 pm ET followed by action on Saturday that goes from noon-4 pm ET. Along with host Kentucky, Morehead State will run with over a dozen other programs including OVC rivals Austin Peay, Eastern Illinois, Eastern Kentucky, Murray State, Southeast Missouri, and Tennessee State.

The two-day meet will not be livestreamed online, but fans will be allowed to attend. The complex will open for spectators at 11 am ET on Friday, followed by a 1 pm ET opening on Saturday. Admission is free for both days of competition.

This meet could be an early indicator of the coming OVC Championship as over half of the programs in the conference will be competing in Lexington this weekend.
