Volleyball's Olivia Lohmeier Earns Her Third VolleyballMag.com All-American Honor
BATON ROUGE, La. – After becoming the first three-time All-American in Morehead State volleyball history with her selection as an American Volleyball Coaches Association Honorable Mention All-American earlier this month, senior outside hitter Olivia Lohmeier can now claim she's the lone four-time All-American in program history.

The Cincinnati, Ohio native adds her second All-American honor of the 2020-21 season after claiming Honorable Mention honors from VolleyballMag.com, the third such honor of her career after earning the same honor following the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

The 2020-21 Ohio Valley Conference co-Player of the Year, Lohmeier led the conference with 286 kills and 329.5 points, averaging 4.33 kills and 4.99 points per set on the year. She finished the season not only leading the OVC but ranking top-25 in the NCAA in points and kills per set, ranking 20th and 25th, respectively.

Lohmeier collected her 286 kills in 2020-21 with just 91 errors on 695 swings, fashioning a .281 hitting percentage. She also added 95 digs, 43 total blocks, 18 service aces, and three assists en route to her second career OVC Player of the Year honor.

Collecting double-figure kills in all 19 matches in 2020-21 and 31 consecutive matches, Lohmeier was an integral part of Morehead State's historic 2020-21 season that saw the program become the first OVC program to appear in an AVCA Coaches' Poll, the program's first-ever NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship victory, and the program's best single-season winning percentage (.895).

With 31 kills in the Eagles' NCAA Tournament games against [RV] Creighton and No. 6 Florida, she became the ninth player in program history to eclipse 1500 career kills, finishing the season with 1509 kills. Lohmeier enters the 2021 season needing 13 kills to become the program's Rally Scoring Era (2001-present) career kills leader.

On the All-Era career leaderboard, she ranks ninth in career kills (1509) and seventh in career hitting percentage (.271).
