• Morehead State will look to stay perfect at home this season when Valparaiso visits. The Eagles are 9-2 all-time at home versus Valparaiso and have won six in a row. The last time Valparaiso beat the Eagles at Jayne Stadium was in 2006.
• Morehead State's defense continues to lead the Pioneer League and ranks third in the entire Football Championship Subdivision in interceptions. The Eagle defenders have picked off 10 passes in the past four games, which is believed to the most in a four-game span in program history.

Brandon Barbee is ranked tied for second in the nation in interceptions with three. Barbee now has five career picks.
• Linebacker
Cameron Barrett's 75-yard interception return at Butler highlighted a day where MSU's defense picked off four passes, one short of the single-game program record. Morehead State ranks second in the PFL in pass defense efficiency.
• Senior wide receiver
BJ Byrd leads the PFL with five receiving touchdowns this spring and ranks third in FCS in touchdowns per game (1.0).
• The Eagles boast the highest-ranked (stats-wise) one-two combination among wide receivers in the PFL.

Mark Pappas threw for a career-high 382 yards on a career-best 29 completions at Butler last Saturday. Pappas also has now thrown for 10 touchdowns in the past four games and has six career games with three touchdowns passing. In the past two games, he has averaged 333.0 yards per game.

Mark Pappas now has 3,113 career passing yards, as he is the 15th player in program history to eclipse 3,000 career passing yards.
• Senior linebacker
Vincent Winey ranks second in the PFL in tackles per game with 9.6. Prior to being held to just four at Butler, Winey had double-digit stops in three straight games.
• Morehead State has increased its first-downs gained each of its five games. Starting with nine at James Madison, MSU totaled 45 first downs just in the past two games at Butler and versus Stetson.

Vaughn Taylor, Jr., now has 31 career tackles for loss, all in the past three seasons after transferring from Kansas.
• Among the six defenders with interceptions this season,

• Morehead State now has a streak of 22 consecutive games with at least six different receivers catching at least one pass. That streak dates to Oct. 20, 2018 vs. Valparaiso.
