MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State's men's golf roster for 2021-22 is now complete with the addition of incoming transfer
Cameron Travis.
Travis, a Richmond, Ky., native, will hit the links for the Eagles after transferring from University of the Cumberlands.
"We are excited to add Cameron to our program for this season. He joins an already deep roster, and I am confident he will fit in well at our university," said head coach
Matthew Martin. "Cameron has competed at a high level this summer in some of the top amateur events in the state. The competition to make our lineup will be fierce, and I look forward to seeing some high level golf from the Eagles this year."
Travis is coming off a tournament title at the Madison County (Ky.) Championship in July. He also has made the cut at the Kentucky State Amateur and the Kentucky State Open tournaments.
He competed in four events at Cumberlands, topping out at a fifth place finish at the Bill Sargent Invitational in 2019-20. His low round was a 71.
Travis also completed an 11th place showing at the 2021 Lexington City Championship.
