MOREHEAD Ky. -- Fresh off the program's third NCAA Tournament appearance and first-ever win, the Morehead State volleyball team is eager to get the action going again this fall, with a traditional non-conference and conference slate lying ahead in 2021.
The Eagles open the campaign this weekend in Athens, Ga., at the Classic City Clash. MSU faces the host Georgia Bulldogs Friday night at 7 p.m. ET, with No. 22 Pepperdine and Winthrop awaiting on Saturday.
The Georgia match will air on the SEC Network+.

Allison Whitten. She ranked third in the OVC with 291 digs and also in the top five in service aces with 21. She enters the year as the 27th member of Morehead State's 1,000 career dig club.
- Lohmeier enters her final season with 1,509 career kills and ranks ninth in program history.
- Lohmeier needs just 13 kills to become the rally-era (2001-present) career kill leader at MSU. She will pass up Ashley Doscher (1,520 from 2005-08) and Ellie Roberson (1,521 from 2009-12).
- Last season Morehead State became the first OVC program to earn its 1,000th win in program history. The Eagles' all-time record sits at 1,006-642-7 since 1972.
- Head coach Jaime Gordon, at 326 career wins at MSU, is the department's all-time winningest coach in any sport.
