Student-Athlete Academic Excellence Produces 141 OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll Accolades

MOREHEAD, Ky. -- For the second consecutive year, Morehead State student-athletes' academic excellence shined brightly as the department garnered 141 spots on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
It's the second straight year with more than 140 awards. The 146 last year set the record.
To be listed, recipients must have achieved at least a 3.25 grade point average for the year, have been eligible and on the team throughout the competitive season in their chosen NCAA-sponsored sport(s) and used a season of competition (actually eligibility was calculated differently for spring '20 athletes and fall and winter '20-21 student-athletes due to COVID year).
Eagle baseball led the department with 22 honorees, while soccer was second with 18.
