NOTABLE

- Morehead State has opened OVC play with a win in each of the last three seasons. Overall, the Eagles lead the series with Austin Peay 49-31, but MSU is well below the equal mark in matches played in Clarksville. MSU is only 12-19 against APSU on its home court.

- Graduate student Olivia Lohmeier has 1,688 career kills, placing her third all-time in program history. She needs just 85 more kills to move past Dayle Hamontree (1987-90) into second place. Lohemier is also now ranked ninth in OVC history in career kills. With just 87 more she can move all the way to fifth place.

- Lohmeier is ranked 20th nationally with 4.47 kills per set. Her 39 kills against Cleveland State on Sept. 3 is the most of any women's player in any match in Division I, II or III and NAIA this fall.

- A highly offensive-minded team, Morehead State ranks 23rd in the nation in team attacks per set (37.4). Morehead State has not generated less than 96 attacks in a match this season, with the high-water mark being 194 against Evansville.

- Freshman setter Brenna Bommer was pressed into starting duty at Tennessee on Sept. 12 and has performed admirably since then. In her first four starts, she is averaging more than 10 assists per set and has nine kills with just three errors. She also has 21 digs and four blocks.

- With four nationally-ranked opponents in the first 11 matches, it's no wonder Morehead State strength of schedule ranks as the toughest in the OVC. Overall, the Eagles' SOS is 63rd toughest in the nation right now.

- Head coach Dr. Jaime Gordon, who also serves as Morehead State's Director of Athletics, has 330 career wins at MSU since 2003 and is the winningest coach of any sport ever at Morehead State. In his 18 previous seasons, Gordon has guided the program to 11 20+ win campaigns and eight OVC titles.
