MOREHEAD, Ky. – After a shorthanded performance against Belmont Thursday evening, Morehead State women's hoops looks to bounce back with a pair of home games against SIUE Saturday and UT Martin Monday.

Sophomore Jada Claude led the Eagles in their matchup against the conference-leading Bruins,   leading all scorers and setting a career-high 22 points alongside seven rebounds and two assists. Redshirt junior Freddy Adams added her own career-high of 13 points to go with two assists and three steals.

SIUE dropped their road contest at Tennessee Tech Thursday, 75-60. Redshirt senior Gabby Nikitinaite, who tops the Cougars in scoring with 13.2 points per game, led all scorers with 20 points, hitting four three-pointers.

After a lengthy hiatus, UT Martin returns to the court Saturday to take on Murray State. The last time the Skyhawks took the floor, they saw an 11 point halftime lead evaporate when Tennessee State connected on a go-ahead basket with 20 seconds left. UT Martin received stellar efforts from Shae Littleford, Holly Forbes, Ella Thompson, and Kyannah Grant, who all finished with double-figures.

Both games can be watched on ESPN+ or listened to on the Eagle Sports Radio Network, with tip-offs slated for 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. ET.

• After her career game on Thursday, Freddy Adams has entered the top 15 in both three-point field goal percentage (.353) and three-pointers made (six) in OVC play.

• Morehead State's winning percentage against SIUE (.647) is their highest among OVC opponents.

• Jada Claude is averaging 6.8 rebounds per game, which is the most among newcomers in the OVC.

• Terri Smith leading the conference and is 12th in the nation in minutes played per game (36.9).

• In league play, Tyler Moore is tied for 5th in the OVC in three-pointers made per game (2.0). Terri Smith sits right behind her with 1.8 three-pointers per game.

• In 2010, the Eagles made history against UT Martin when they made a program-high 39 free throws, including Chynna Bozeman setting the school record with 18 shots from the charity stripe.
