MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State volleyball remains at home this week for a midweek matchup with its OVC "travel partner" Tennessee Tech. The Eagles and Golden Eagles serve it up from FamilyLeisure.com Court at 6 p.m. ET Wednesday.
MSU will look to enact a reversal of the last matchup it had with TTU on Oct. 12 in Tennessee. TTU broke a nine-match losing streak to the Eagles and won 3-1. The Eagles have won the last four matches against Tech in Morehead.
The match can be seen live on ESPN+ with Dean Hardin calling it.

- Senior setter Bridget
Bessler was named OVC Setter of the Week for the 13th time in her career and third tome this season. The 13 awards ties former teammate
Olivia Lohmeier for the most individual awards in program history.
- Bessler averaged more than 12 assists per set last weekend in the Eagles' two wins over Eastern Illinois and leads the conference with 10.0 assists per set. Bessler's 3,762 career assists now ranks third in program history.
- Middle blocker
Irene Wogenstahl had a monster weekend against EIU. She landed 29 kills and made only three errors for a .500 attack percentage. Along with her offensive efforts, she also piled up 13 blocks in the two matches, including nine on Friday when she smacked down 21 kills as well.
- Middle blocker
Sydney Wyman also had a nice weekend. She averaged 4.3 kills per set and made only five errors on 57 swings for a .439 hitting percentage. Wyman also contributed six blocks in the Eagles' two wins over Eastern Illinois. In Thursday's match, she set a career-high with five blocks, while she recorded a career-high 18 kills in the Friday win. In her first year as an Eagle after transferring from Nevada, she averages 2.18 kills on a .270 hitting percentage.

Peighton Isley rose up on the back row last weekend. Isley piled up 19 digs in the Eagles' three set win over EIU Thursday and then had 17 more in the Friday win. She leads MSU with 3.3 digs per set.
- Morehead State is 52-11 in home matches since 2018, for an 83-percent home success rate.

Kinsey McAfee had just seven kills on the whole season heading into the Tennessee Tech match two weeks ago but she has come on strong as of late and is seeing more court time. McAfee had 16 successful terminations in her last three matches, including a career-high nine in the win over EIU last Friday.

Abby Hulsman is up to 825 career kills and has reached double-digits in kills in eight consecutive matches. She leads all active players with 44 career matches in double digit kills.
