MOREHEAD, Ky. – Morehead State women's hoops travels to Richmond Sunday for a showdown with one of their oldest rivals, Eastern Kentucky.
The Eagles are coming off a defeat at Kentucky, but the team saw some bright spots, including swiping 11 steals from the Wildcats and
Sophie Benharouga notching a career-high 17 points to go with career-highs in rebounds, assists, and field goals made.
Eastern Kentucky, who is led by former Morehead State head coach Greg Todd, is coming off a 95-63 victory Appalachian State that saw graduate student Danielle Rainey score 30 points and redshirt senior Antwainette Walker notch a double-double, with 26 points and 11 rebounds.
Tip-off is slated for 6:00 p.m. ET and can be found on ESPN+ or listened to on the Eagle Sports Radio Network.
