MOREHEAD, Ky. – Morehead State women's basketball continues their five game home stand Saturday against Presbyterian.
The Eagles are coming off their first victory of the season, a 73-42 triumph over Spalding (Ky.)
Sophie Benharouga added onto her hot start, scoring 16 points while pulling down nine rebounds and
Veronica Charles posted her first career double-double with 16 points and 12 boards.Â
The Morehead State defense was also on full display against the Golden Eagles, forcing Spalding into 27 turnovers, thanks in part to 16 steals.Â
Presbyterian comes into Johnson Arena with a 2-3 record after dropping their previous two matchups against St. Thomas and Minnesota. Â
Saturday's matchup is the second meeting between the two programs. Tip-off is slated for 2:00 PM and can be found on ESPN+ or listened to on the Eagle Sports Radio Network.Â
