MARTIN, Tenn. -- Kinsey McAfee had a career offensive day with 11 kills, but the Morehead State volleyball team could not overcome a potent Skyhawk offense Friday on the road losing to UT Martin in three sets (17-25, 19-25, 19-25).
The loss dropped Morehead State's record to 13-14 overall and 9-7 in OVC action.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Eagles found themselves in an early deficit, losing a tough first set 25-17. Morehead State trailed by as many as eight points as UT Martin never surrendered the lead in a set that was notted up two times before the Skyhawks took control.
SET 2 | A 25-19 set-two loss put Morehead State behind 2-0 in the match. The Eagles lost the second set despite a strong showing on the attacking side. Morehead State put together a .333 attack percentage with 15 kills in the set loss.
SET 3 | UT Martin finished the sweep with a set-three win. The Eagles fell in a tough set 25-19. Morehead State trailed by as many as six points as UT Martin grabbed the advantage for good at 17-16 in a set that was knotted up nine times before the Skyhawks took over in the second half of the stanza.
