MOREHEAD, Ky. – Women's basketball is now preparing for their final two non-conference matchups, first traveling to South Carolina to take on the Spartans of USC Upstate Monday.Â
Veronica Charles, reigning OVC Newcomer of the Week, led the Eagles against Bellarmine last week and notched her second double-double of the season with 18 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, and four steals.
Sophie Benharouga was just behind Charles in points with 13, alongside three rebounds, two assists, and one block.
USC Upstate is entering Monday's contest after a 57-31 loss against Old Dominion. Rebekah Gordon and Trinity Johnson led the Spartans with nine points apiece.
Tip-off is slated for 11:00 AM and can be found on ESPN+ or listened to on the Eagle Sports Radio Network.
