MOREHEAD, Ky.— The Morehead State baseball team continues their spring break road trip this Friday, as they head to Manhattan, Kan., for a three-game series with the Wildcats of Kansas State University. The Eagles (7-9) dropped their first game of four scheduled contests on Wednesday in a 4-1 loss at Saint Louis. Kansas State (8-7) heads into this game hot, riding a five-game winning-streak.

All three games will be available on BIG 12 NOW on ESPN+, with live stats available as well.

• Morehead State's Jackson Feltner comes in riding an eight-game hitting-streak, with six of multi-hit games in that period. He has reached base safely in all 16 games this season. His lone hit Wednesday was an RBI double in the first inning.
• Jarrett Miller and John Bakke continued their dominance out of the bullpen this season against Saint Louis. Both relievers pitched scoreless innings against the Billikens on Wednesday. Miller's ERA currently sits at an astonishing 0.69, with Bakke's ERA sitting at 3.09.
• Morehead State has five qualified batters batting over .280 on the season, with Ryley Preece, Alex Jacobs, Roman Kuntz, Nick Gooden and Jackson Feltner leading the charge offensively.
• Speaking of Roman Kuntz, he currently holds a four-game hit-streak, with three multi-hit games in that timeframe.
• Nick Gooden has carved out a role in the infield for Morehead State so far this season. He currently is batting .362 with two homers, four doubles, and six RBI.
• Luke Helton, the Friday starter for the Eagles, has gone into the fifth inning in every start this season.
• Kansas State comes in with five straight wins after beating Nebraska, taking three games over Central Connecticut State, and beating Omaha 8-4 on Tuesday. None of those three teams scored over four runs on Wildcat pitching.
• Kansas State volunteer assistant Thomas Hughes, the son of KSU head coach Pete Hughes, has MSU ties. He served as the volunteer assistant at MSU in head coach Mik Aoki's first season.
• Pete Hughes and Aoki also have a similar tie-in. The two were teammates on the Davidson College baseball team, both finishing their careers in 1990.
