MOREHEAD, KY. – Morehead State's Beach Volleyball team is heading to Chattanooga, Tenn., for their first Ohio Valley Conference matches this Friday and Saturday.

The Eagles will be competing in four matches against Chattanooga, Austin Peay, UT Martin and Eastern Illinois. MSU will be looking to continue last year's first OVC weekend success where it finished undefeated.

The Eagles will face Chattanooga first at 11 a.m. ET Friday, followed by Austin Peay at 3 p.m. The Eagles will then compete against UT Martin at 9 a.m. Saturday, followed again by Eastern Illinois at 3 p.m.

Chattanooga will be coming into this OVC Weekend with a 8-2 record, Austin Peay 3-4, UT Martin 1-3 and Eastern Illinois is 0-1. After the 9-1 record Morehead State finished the inaugural season with last year, it will be using this as confidence going forward with the 2022 OVC season.

- Graduate student Olivia Lohmeier and junior Allison Whitten went 3-1 as the No.1 pair this past weekend at the College of Charleston Tournament.

- Whitten owns the best winning percentage in program history at 40-8 (.833).

- In the last three seasons, Morehead State is now 32-10.

- With her win versus Eastern Kentucky last weekend, Olivia Montelisciani reached 30 career flight victories.
