MOREHEAD, Ky. – The Morehead State softball team will get a chance to play two of its eight rained out games this spring. The Eagles and Butler have settled on Wednesday, May 4, as a replacement date for the March 8 twin bill.
The home doubleheader will start at 1 p.m. The contests were originally scheduled to be broadcast on ESPN+, but no decision has been made at this time whether the makeup games will air on the network.
MSU also intends to reschedule Wednesday's home doubleheader with Dayton, but no date has been set. However, the remaining games that were rained out will not be made up.
Morehead State (1-18) will host its first Ohio Valley Conference series this weekend when Austin Peay (13-14) comes to town for three games. The Eagles and the Govs will play a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 p.m., and then return for a single contest on Sunday also starting at 1 p.m.
