RESULTS
MOREHEAD, Ky. – The Eagles battled through a crowded field at the Missouri Tiger Invitational, claiming a share of eight place with OVC foe SIUE.
Fifth-year
Zac Viminitz led the way for the Eagles, finishing the tournament in seventh place after fashioning rounds of 69-68-74—211. Viminitz shined on par 5s, posting a score of six under par on the long range holes.
Fellow fifth-year
Joe Muschong claimed a top-30 finish, carding rounds of 68-78-74—220. Muschong matched Viminitz with 14 birdies throughout the tournament, leading the Eagles.
Ryan Gillum had the second best scoring average for the team on par 4s, while
Cameron Travis notched 11 birdies throughout the event.
Nolan Piazza rounded out the quintet, shooting an even par in his opening round.
The Eagles return to the links in two weeks at the OVC Championships. The three-day tournament tees off from the Dalhousie Country Club in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
