MOREHEAD, Ky. – Hitting the course for the final time this season, Morehead State women's golf heads to Alabama for the Ohio Valley Conference Championship. Last year, the program had their best finish at the event since the 2017-18 season after placing fifth.

In their last outing, the Eagles finished 12th in a field of 17 teams. MacKenzie Neal, who will head the lineup, led the team at the event after carding rounds of 77-82-71—230. Her third round was the lowest individual score for the team and she also posted the third best average on par 4s.

Head coach Stephanie Barker also employs a lineup of Olivia Hensley, Bridget Connolly, Hailey Rietz, and Hanna Montgomery.

The three-day, 54-hole tourney tees off Sunday from the Fighting Joe Course before concluding Tuesday. The event will tee off with a shotgun start beginning at 9:00 a.m. ET.
