Inclement Weather Forces Baseball Postponement vs. SIUE

MOREHEAD, Ky. -- After a heavy rain storm passed through, Morehead State's baseball game with SIUE was forced to be postponed Saturday evening.
The teams will now play a doubleheader at Noon ET Sunday, with game one scheduled for the full nine innings and game two seven innings.
The teams waited nearly two hours after the scheduled 6 p.m. start time but the threat of more rain was in the forecast, and the decision was made not to try and start the game tonight. Lightning delays were also prevalent in the area earlier in the day and persisted until nearly game time.
John Bakke is scheduled to start game two of the series and game one of the double dip, with
Luke Helton primed to man the mound in the finale.
