MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Following another stellar season, Morehead State sophomore first baseman Jackson Feltner was selected to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings First-Team All-Midwest Region squad.

From Louisa, Ky., Feltner is now eligible for ABCA All-America consideration.

For the second straight season, Feltner nearly batted the elusive .400, finishing at .393 for the 2022 campaign. The two-time First-Team All-OVC pick and 2021's league Freshman of the Year, upped his production to 16 home runs and 17 doubles to go along with 51 RBI this spring. Feltner also rapped out 84 hits, scored 56 times and posted a team-best .706 slugging percentage.

He ranked among conference leaders in multiple-hit games as well with 28 and had 10 multi-RBI efforts.He also posted a 15-game hitting streak during the campaign where the Eagles finished third place in the OVC and 27-27 overall.
