MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State's indoor and beach volleyball program have once again earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award.

Honoring teams who achieve a 3.30 team grade point average for the year, it marks the 24th all-time award for indoor and the fifth for beach (every season program has been in existence). The indoor program has won 14 in a row, and the 24 overall awards ties for the national record among all divisions, JUCOs, Canadian schools and high schools. The Eagles are tied with Indiana State and Concordia (Neb.).

Volleyball earned a 3.51 team GPA for 2021-22. Three student-athletes, Trinity Miller, Raegan Alexander and Taylor Hodges achieved perfect 4.0 GPAs.
