MOREHEAD, Ky. -- A quick turnaround awaits the Morehead State soccer team on Sunday, as the James Madison Dukes begin a four-match road trip with a visit to MSU Soccer Field. Morehead State kicked off the season on Thursday with a win over Central Michigan in its home opener, while JMU played to a scoreless draw with VCU. Head coach Chris Fox said the team is confident following their first win, but has remained focused ahead of Sunday's match.
"JMU are a very strong side and are very well coached. Josh (Walters Sr.) and I have very similar philosophies and I'm excited for the tactical match up. The girls are feeling confident following out win on Thursday but are staying grounded as we continue to improve each game."
The match is set to kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET Sunday, with live stats and live streaming (ESPN+) available (links at the top of the story.)
