Soccer's Jerantowski Tabbed Player to Watch in OVC
MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Following a stellar season in 2021, Morehead State soccer's Michelle Jerantowski has been tabbed as a player to watch in the Ohio Valley Conference heading into 2022.

Jerantowski transferred to Morehead State in 2020 after two years at Jacksonville University, and has been great in goal since becoming an Eagle. Last season, Jerantowski saved 75 shots on goal, recording five shutouts along the way -- good for fifth in program history for shutouts in a season. Three of those shutouts came against OVC opponents, where she allowed only nine goals in eight games in conference play.

Jerantowski and the Eagles will look to return to the OVC Tournament after falling to SEMO in the first round last season in their first appearance since 2018. Under new head coach Chris Fox, MSU heads into 2022 looking to win their first OVC Tournament title since 2013.

Morehead State is picked to finish sixth in the conference out of nine teams.
