MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Remaining perfect in the kicking game in 2022, Morehead State sophomore
Nathan Hazlett has been selected the Pioneer Football League Special Teams Player of the Week.
Hazlett, a Danville, Ky., native, earns the 27th all-time PFL STPOTW honor in program history.
He was true on all seven point-after-touchdown kicks as the Eagles beat Kentucky Christian 49-14 Saturday. Hazlett is now 9-of-9 on PAT tries in 2022 and is also unblemished on field goals at 4-of-4.
Hazlett had two touchbacks on his eight kickoffs and Kentucky Christian averaged just 20 yards per return on its six returns, giving it an average starting field position of its own 24-yard line.
Hazlett and the Eagles open PFL action Saturday at Stetson at 1 p.m. ET.
