PRESEASON ALL-OVC INFORMATION
MOREHEAD, Ky. -- In the preseason vote of Ohio Valley Conference coaches and media relations' personnel, Morehead State men's basketball is on top.
The Eagles were nearly unanimously picked for a first-place showing, while senior
Mark Freeman is the Preseason Player of the Year and senior
Drew Thelwell is also on the All-OVC Team.
After winning the OVC regular season title last winter, MSU garnered all but two of the first-place votes to easily be the choice for the champion this winter. Freeman was the Player of the Year last year and voted again for the top honor this season. Thelwell made a name for himself during conference play and was rewarded with a spot on the all-league list.
