MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Morehead State women's basketball team's home opener will have to wait, as the Eagles are back on the road this weekend for a first-ever meeting with the Alabama Crimson Tide. With the cancelation of Thursday's scheduled game vs. Wilberforce, Sunday will mark MSU's first game in nearly a week.
The Eagles hung tough with another Power Five opponent in the season opener, as MSU outscored No. 23 Illinois in the third quarter and tied 37-37 in the second half of Monday's loss.
Fans can catch the action live on SEC Network+ or listen in on 96.3 WIVY -- the Eagle Sports Network -- where Tom Lewis and Wes Holland will be on the call. Live stats will be provided as well.
