RESULTS
MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State put the finishing wrap on its 2022-23 regular-season Saturday at the NCAA Qualifier at Kentucky. The Eagles finished with a 4643 total, including 2355 in Air Rifle and 2288 in Smallbore.
In Air Rifle,
Grace Weber concluded the season with a team-high 593, while
Bryce Ward was close behind at 589.
Andrew Morris carded a 587, and
Adrianna Beard was at 586.
Hayden Bell was at 585 to round out the counters.
On the Smallbore range,
Cassidy Wilson led the counters with a 578. Morris was second at 577. Ward fired a 569, while Weber and
Elizabeth Plecity turned in 564 scores.
Wilson tied her career-high in Air with a 588 and had a new combined personal best with a 1166.
The Eagles accomplished another successful season. MSU was 8-2 in true head-to-head matches. Weber had the highest all time Air Rifle season average at 591.85. In addition, the team Smallbore season standing average of 756.46 was the highest ever and the team Air Rifle season average of 2358.62 set the program record too.
