MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Winners of six straight, the Morehead State baseball team resumes OVC play this weekend as the Eagles look to stay atop the conference standings in a three game set at Lindenwood. The Eagles and Lions have never met prior to this weekend's series.Â
First pitch for all three games is currently set for 2:00 p.m. ET, with games scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Live stats and live video are provided, as well as an audio only stream on MSUEagles.com with Hunter Hurst on the call for all three games.

- Morehead State has the best statistical power output in the OVC thus far this season, with 10 more home runs than the next closest team. The Eagles have hit 46 home runs this year, and lead the conference in total extra base hits with 107.Â
- Colton Becker's outstanding week vs. Ohio and Canisius netted him both OVC Player of the Week honors as well as D1 Baseball's National Player of the Week. While other Eagles have been selected as the National Player of the Week by other outlets, Becker is the first to be picked by D1 Baseball. Becker leads the team in both RBI (32) and stolen bases (14-14).Â
- Ryley Preece is still the OVC leader in home runs this season, leaving the yard 12 times. Preece is the team leader in total bases (84) and slugging percentage (.743), and is third in hits with 36.Â
- Jackson Feltner has yet to strikeout against a conference opponent this season, drawing six walks against Tennessee Tech and Southern Indiana. Feltner leads the team in batting average (.371) and hits (39).Â
- Grant Herron is among the OVC leaders in strikeouts this season, punching out 46 opposing batters. 18 of those K's have seen hitters go down looking -- good for first in the OVC. He is also the OVC leader in wins with four.Â
- John Bakke tied his season-high in strikeouts vs. Canisius, with eight Golden Griffins going down via the K. Bakke holds a 3-2 record on the season, and took home his first OVC Pitcher of the Week award after seven shutout innings vs. Southern Indiana in the OVC opener.Â
- Luke Helton has went 6.2 innings in both of his starts vs. OVC opponents this season, striking out nine batters combined.Â
- Jarrett Miller has held down the closer role this season for the Morehead State bullpen, leading the OVC in saves with six. Riley Bradshaw has been effective as well, and notched his first career save vs. Tennessee Tech on April 2nd.Â
- Matt Bettio has given up just one earned run in his last five appearances out of the bullpen, striking out six batters in that time.Â
- Isaias Guzman's bat has heated up as of late, as the Eagle third baseman notched a hit in all three games vs. Canisius including his first home run of the season.Â
- Speaking of first home runs, Morehead State catcher Carter Sakamoto smashed his first career homer in Friday's 10-4 win over the Golden Griffins.
