Senior Isaias Guzman led the way offensively for the Eagles, going 3-for-4 in the ballgame with a home run, a walk and two RBI. Junior Jackson Feltner put together a noteworthy effort as well, going 1-for-6 with a home run and an RBI. Senior Chase Vinson also helped out, going 2-for-4 for Morehead State with an RBI.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Eagles put runs on the scoreboard first, starting the scoring in the second inning. Guzman's run-scoring single highlighted a two-run inning for Morehead State.

The Lions failed to push any runs across before the Eagles offense got back to their scoring ways the next inning. Morehead State scored once on an RBI single off the bat of Vinson, which brought the score to 3-0 in favor of the Eagles.

Lindenwood narrowed Morehead State's lead to 3-2 before the Eagles stretched the advantage to 4-2 in the seventh inning. The Eagles picked up a run on Guzman's one-out solo home run.

The Lions then evened up the game at four before Morehead State fought back to reclaim their advantage in the twelfth inning. The Eagles sent in a run on Feltner's leadoff home run off Walsh, bringing the score to 5-4 in favor of Morehead State.
