MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Athletics had its best-ever showing in the latest Academic Progress Rate data with 10 programs recording a perfect 1,000 APR tally for the latest year's report.
In addition, seven programs recorded a multi-year APR of 990 or higher, with five having a perfect 1,000 multi-year total as well.
The NCAA's multi-year APR is part of the overall Division I academic reform effort. The APR provides a real-time look at, and full assessment of, each team's academic performance by tracking the progress of every student-athlete each semester. It takes into account eligibility, retention and graduation. This report is the four-year cohort leading up to the 2021-22 year.
Programs scoring a 1,000 for the single-year report include: Baseball, Men's Cross Country, Men's Golf, Men's Track and Field, Women's Cross Country, Women's Golf, Softball, Volleyball, Women's Track and Field and Rifle.
The five teams who have a multi-year 1,000 are: Men's Golf, Women's Golf, Beach Volleyball, Volleyball and Rifle. Softball and Soccer each totaled above a 990 as well.
