MOREHEAD, Ky. – Morehead State's women's golf's quartet of Tuva Marie Isebakke, Ruth Tonnessen, MacKenzie Neal, and Hailey Rietz have earned recognition on the Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar list for 2022-23.

The program honors student-athletes who have maintained a 3.5 grade point average and competed in at least 50 percent of scheduled tournaments, making this arguably one of the most stringent student-athlete academic awards bestowed by a coaches organization.

Isebakke concluded her freshman campaign with a stroke average of 76.5, claiming three top-25 finishes throughout the season. The Spydeberg, Norway native earned a spot on the All-OVC, All-Newcomer, and All-Tournament Teams, and notched a season-best fifth place finish at the OVC Championship.

Tonnessen became only the second golfer in conference history to be named Player and Freshman of the Year and earn medalist honors in the same season. In addition, the Norwegian freshman claimed five other top-20 finishes throughout the season, including medalist honors at the Spring Break Shootout.

Neal finished her fourth season as an Eagle, earning All-OVC and All-Tournament Team honors. The Richmond senior was named OVC Golfer of the Week on September 7 and was also named OVC Golfer of the Month in September. Through 11 events, Neal claimed four top-25 finishes, including a season-best fourth place finish at the OVC Championship.

Rietz competed in 26 rounds and nine events on the season, finishing the year with a 77.7 stroke average. The California native shot a season-low 71 at the Spring Break Shootout and claimed a top-15 finish at the UIC Briar Ridge Invitational.
