MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The final week of the regular season is here, and the Morehead State women's basketball team is well rested and ready to go as the Eagles play host to Southeast Missouri in the regular season's penultimate game Thursday.
Morehead State sits in fifth place in the conference with an opportunity to move up in the standings prior to next week's OVC Tournament in Evansville.
Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. ET from Johnson Arena. Fans not in attendance can catch the action live on ESPN+, or tune into the Eagle Sports Network (96.3 WIVY) where Tom Lewis and Wes Holland will call the action courtside.

- Coming into Thursday's game, Morehead State will have had seven days off since taking down Western Illinois in double overtime last Thursday.
- Morehead State finished up the road conference slate last week at 6-3, the most road wins vs. OVC opponents since 2018-19.
- Veronica Charles was the star in the victory over Western Illinois. Charles poured in 31 points, the most by an Eagle since 2019 and most in a regular season game since 2017. Charles posted seven rebounds, four assists and three steals as well, and now has 20 games with 10+ points and three games with 20+.
- Charles also has dominated on the defensive end. This season, she has a steal in 26 of 27 games (inc. 21 in a row) with 21 multiple steal performances. Charles ranks third in the conference in steals (2.6 per game) overall and second in steals vs. OVC opponents (3.0 per game).
- Katie Novik posted her fifth straight game with 10+ points last Thursday. Novik went 3-4 from beyond the arc, and leads Morehead State in three-point percentage (.397) in conference play. Novik ranks first on the team in blocked shots, and second on the team in scoring, assists, and steals.
- Matilda Soderlund exploded for Morehead State last week, averaging 16.5 PPG. Soderlund scored 23 off the bench vs. USI and 10 vs. Western Illinois.
- Blessing King averaged 15 rebounds per game in two games last week, and has seven straight 10+ rebounding performances. In Morehead State's loss to USI on Feb. 20, King grabbed 18 rebounds -- a season high.
- Hallie Rhodes posted 13 points vs. Western Illinois as well as five rebounds. Rhodes has 18 10+ point performances this season.
