Alumni Weekend and Athletic Hall of Fame Ceremony Set for Saturday

MOREHEAD, Ky. -- In partnership with the Morehead State Alumni Association, the athletic department is proud to host its newest Hall of Fame class induction and alumni weekend. The five latest Hall of Fame inductees will be honored on Saturday, Feb. 10.

The newest Hall of Fame members are: Sean Hogan from baseball, Oscar Jones from track and field, faculty athletic representative Peggy Osborne, Amber Riddle from softball and Leslie (Schellhaas) Litmer from volleyball.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 9

MSU Alumni and Friends Reception
ADUC BALLROOMS | 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.

Alumni are invited to join the MSU Alumni Board of Directors and Student Alumni Ambassadors in welcoming the Athletic Hall of Fame inductees back to campus! This event is hosted by the MSU Alumni Association and registration is complimentary. 

 

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10

Alumni Day at MSU Basketball
AAC JOHNSON ARENA | 1:00 P.M.

1:00 p.m.  MSU Women's Basketball vs. Eastern Illinois
3:30 p.m.  MSU Men's Basketball vs. Eastern Illinois

Alumni are invited to attend a special reception in the East Lobby Landing of the AAC between women's and men's games. Enjoy free snacks, MSU giveaways, door prizes, and photos with Beaker! If you plan to attend the game and reception, but are not a season ticket holder, you may purchase your game tickets through the MSU Alumni Association when you are registering for the weekend! Game tickets will be sent to the primary registrant email given. General Admission Bleacher seats are available for $10. Lower chairback seats are available for $15.

The game ticket purchase window through the MSU Alumni Association will close on Wednesday, February 7 at Midnight. Any ticket purchases after this deadline need to be made through MSU Athletics
 

Athletic Hall of Fame Reception and Induction Ceremony
PREFONTAINE PUB, FIRST FLOOR OF ADUC | 6:30 P.M.

Alumni and friends are invited to join MSU Athletics for a special reception and ceremony to recognize the 2023 inductees of the MSU Athletic Hall of Fame. This event will feature a welcome reception with delicious game day hors d'oeuvres, paired with unique beer and wine selections. The reception will be followed by the induction ceremony.

Registration for this event is $25 - the full amount of which goes to support Morehead State Athletics.
