GAME 1 | Morehead State 23, Eastern Michigan 12
MOREHEAD, KY -- Colton Becker collected three extra base hits to help power the Morehead State Eagles over the Eastern Michigan Eagles 23-12 on Saturday.
Sophomore Carter Owens (1-0) picked up the victory out of the bullpen for Morehead State (10-8). The right-hander went 2.2 innings, giving up four runs, all of them earned, on five hits, allowing one walk and striking out three. Matt Bettio also made an impact on the mound for the Eagles, throwing two shutout innings while allowing two hits, with no walks and one strikeout.
Becker's three extra base hits were the highlight of a 3-for-6 day, and included two doubles, a home run and four RBI. Isaias Guzman put together a noteworthy day at the plate as well, going 2-for-5 with a home run, a walk and four RBI. Senior Roman Kuntz also chipped in for the Eagles, putting together three hits in five trips to the plate while adding a home run, a walk and two RBI.

MOREHEAD, Ky. --Senior Logan Castleman and senior Roman Kuntz each hit two home runs to help power the Morehead State Eagles over the Eastern Michigan Eagles 17-4 on Saturday.
Sophomore Hunter Porter (1-0) started on the mound and picked up the win for Morehead State (11-8). The right-hander went five innings, giving up four runs, three earned, on five hits, allowing five walks and striking out six. Sophomore Josh Furtado also made an impact on the mound for the Eagles, throwing two shutout innings while allowing no hits, with one walk and two strikeouts.
Kuntz added six RBI to his two homer day and Castleman supplemented his own two big flies with four RBI for the Eagles. Freshman Hayden Robbins also contributed for Morehead State, putting together two hits in two trips to the plate while adding a home run, a walk and two RBI.
