MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Freshman
Tavia Burgess completed her first top-10 finish, and the Morehead State women's golf team concluded the Johnie Imes Invitational at Missouri in seventh place.
With the tournament shortened to 36 holes due to a weather delay Monday, Burgess fired a 75-72--147 to take 10th place.
Amelia Rae Greenlee scored a top-20 finish in 17th as she covered the course in 78-71--149. Other Eagles in the lineup included
Isabella Wiley (76-79--155),
Tuva Marie Isebakke (76-81--157) and
Hanna Montgomery (84-81--165).
Hannah Curreri played as an individual and carded an 86-81--167.
The Eagles' team score concluded at 305-303--608.
MSU finished ahead of notables Eastern Kentucky, Drake and Murray State.
