Sydney Sennett has been named Ohio Valley Conference Co-Setter of the Week for her play last week against SIUE it was announced Monday.
It's Sennett's fourth weekly honor of the season. Sennett posted her 18
th and 19
th 30+ assists efforts in Morehead State's two sweeps over SIUE last Thursday and Friday. She opened the week Thursday with 31 assists and matched her career high with three block assists.
In the Eagles' win Friday, Sennett posted 38 assists, running the MSU offense that hit a .244 attack efficiency. She has dished out 30+ assists in 15 of Morehead State's last 16 matches and the last eight in a row.
Sennett shares the award with Catalina Rochaix, the setter for this week's opponents, Eastern Illinois. The Eagles and the Panther will tangle this weekend with the top spot in the OVC on the line.
First serve Thursday in Charleston is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET. Friday's match is slated to start at 5:00 p.m. ET. Both matches can be seen on ESPN+.
