MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Seniors
Amelia Rae Greenlee and
Tuva Marie Isebakke each scored top-10 individual finishes, and the Morehead State Women's Golf team concluded The Robbie event in Alabama in fourth place this weekend.
Ten teams battled it out at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Hampton Cove.
MSU wrapped up its fall season with the second straight top-4 team effort. MSU topped fellow Ohio Valley Conference foe Tennessee Tech by six stokes at 296-300-295--891.
Greenlee carded a fifth-place finish at 69-73-76--218, while Isebakke was eighth at 74-73-72--219. They both registered the program's first two top-10 performances this season. For Isebakke, it was her seventh career top-10 and the third for Greenlee.
The remainder of the Eagle lineup included
Claudia Hofmeister in 32nd at 81-78-72--231,
Isabella Wiley in 34th at 78-76-78--232 and
Margaret Ulrich in 34th as well at 75-82-75--232.
Freshman
Morgan Kennedy played as an individual and wound up 24th at 75-78-74--227, and transfer
Meri Illamola was the final Eagle in the individual field at 39th with a 75-78-82--235.
MSU returns to action on Feb. 8-9, hosting the MSU Spring Invitational in North Carolina.
