MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Rifle shot against No. 6 Memphis at Button Range on Sunday, with the Eagles falling 4,722-4,678.
Senior
Hayden Bell topped the Air Rifle lineup with a 594, while fellow senior
Adrianna Beard followed suit with a 592. Sophomore
Trey Myers was also close, carding a 591. Freshman
Hannah Goin was in the lineup today and shot 587 to tie her career high. Sophomore
George Kuhne rounded out the lineup at 584.
Smallbore saw Kuhne's 581 lead the squad. Myers came across the finish line with a 579, and both Bell and Beard shot 577. Bell tied his prone personal best at 199 (for the ninth time).Â
Memphis' Gabby Ayers set the Button Range record for Smallbore with a 594. Memphis' team total was also a Button Range record.
The Eagles' final match before winter break is next weekend at West Virginia when WVU, MSU, Kentucky, Wofford, North Georgia and Mount Aloysius (Pa.) will all convene for a two-day match.
