MOREHEAD, Ky. -- A septet (seven) of Morehead State football student-athletes landed on Phil Steele's All-Pioneer Football League list for the 2025 season.

Ryan Upp led the group, earning first-team. Second-Team honors were bestowed upon offensive lineman
Jacob Ziegler and linebacker
Luke Bauer. Third-team accolades went to defensive back
Jackson Benjamin, and a trio of Eagles were fourth-team - running back
Isaac Stopke, defensive back
Mateo Reyes and long snapper
Colton Carmichael.
Morehead State finished 6-6 overall, the program's second straight .500 or better campaign under head coach
Jason Woodman.
Upp, a senior from Leesburg, Va., became just the fourth-ever Eagle to eclipse 1,000 yards in a season when he piled up a PFL-best 1,107 yards to go along with five scores through the air. He led the PFL and ranked in the top five in the FCS in total yards, yards per game and yards per catch.
Ziegler, a sophomore tackle from Sandusky, Ohio, paved the way for the offense to gain 336 yards per outing, including 207 passing yards. He started all 12 games.
Bauer, a graduate-level student from Akron, Ohio, finished with 45 total tackles and five tackles for loss. He also had five quarterback hurries.
Benjamin is a fifth-year from Los Gatos, Calif. He produced 40 total stops and a team-high seven pass break ups.
Stopke, a sophomore from Lake Havasu City, Ariz., led the team with 788 rushing yards. He had 100+ yards in three of the final four games.
Reyes is a senior from Fresno, Calif. He ended up as the teams leading tackler and ranked among PFL leaders with 87 total tackles.
Carmichael, a junior from Richfield, Ohio, graded out highly on all snaps this year.
