MOREHEAD, Ky. --  Still with some OVC Tournament seeding on the line, Morehead State men's basketball will close the regular season Saturday against the team it opened league play against back in December - UT Martin. Tip-off time in West Tennessee is 4:30 p.m. ET.

Morehead State has won eight of the last 10 games overall against UT Martin, but the Eagles will be searching for the program's first win in Martin, Tenn., since the 2020-21 season. At home, MSU is nearly unbeatable versus UTM all-time (28-4) but is just 14-12 versus the Skyhawks in the Elam Center.

Morehead State has qualified for the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament for the seventh straight season, which is the most consecutive appearances for any current league team. Only MSU and SIUE have each qualified for the last five OVC Tournaments. MSU can only finish either sixth, seventh or eighth place depending on Saturday's outcomes.

UT Martin handed Southern Indiana a 79-63 defeat Thursday and has won four of its last six games. Tarence Guinyard leads UTM with 16.2 points per outing.

The game can also be heard on the Eagle Sports Radio Network (WIVY-96.3 FM flagship station as well as WGOH in Grayson, Ky.) with Chuck Mraz and Drew Barnette. It is also available on MSUEagles.com. The game is set to air on ESPN+.
